The Letta government ( ital. Governo Letta ) is the 62nd government of the Italian Republic , the first government formed by the following the parliamentary elections of February 24-25, 2013, took the oath of office on April 28, 2013 [1] . The government was replaced by Mario Monti , who resigned on December 21, 2012, and resigned on February 14, 2014 [2] .

General information
The Government of Italy (also called the “cabinet” or “ Council of Ministers ”, Italian. Consiglio dei Ministri ) is the main executive body of Italy . It consists of the Chairman (that is, the Prime Minister), ministers and the Deputy Chairman (Deputy Prime Minister). The President of the Republic is not a member of the government and therefore cannot become a member of the Council of Ministers.
