He graduated from the Paris Conservatory ( 1855 ), a student of Auguste Francomme . He took the place of a soloist in the newly created Padlu Orchestra . In 1859 he toured in Madrid , speaking at the royal court. Since 1869 , he lived and worked in London , was the accompanist of the cello, and in 1881 , for a short time, the artistic director of the Musical Union chamber orchestra ( Eng. Musical Union ); He also played in the string quartet, the part of the first violin in which Leopold Auer and Paul Viardot alternately performed.
He was friends with Camille Saint-Saens , who dedicated Lasserre Sonata No. 1 for cello and piano Op. 32 (1872) and Allegro appassionato Op. 43 (1873); Saint-Saens also performed with his Lasserre his piano trio (it is known that Auer once performed the violin part with them, and Henrik Veniavsky another time) [1] . Lasserre is also dedicated to the Sonata for Cello and Piano ( 1880 ) by Hubert Parry ; her premiere performance by Lasserrom was enthusiastically evaluated by the composer [2] .
