Yu. A. Pershin began to play ball hockey in the Torpedo children's team ( Krasnoyarsk ). In the Yenisei - since May 1977.

He was involved in the USSR national team , in which he twice became the world champion.

After 15 seasons, he went to Sweden and Finland , where he spent 5 seasons.

Returning to Krasnoyarsk , he spent another 8 seasons as part of the Yenisei.
