History
The team for hockey with the Alma-Ata branch of the All-Union Sports Organization "Dynamo" was organized in 1932. And in 1937, the team debuted at the All-Union arena in the games for the USSR Cup. For many years, the team played at urban and republican competitions.
A great contribution to the development of the team was made by Nikolay Starostin , who worked with the team in the 1950s.
In 1954, the team, taking third place in the second group of the USSR Championship, won the right to participate in the USSR Championship games. But for financial reasons, the team had to refuse tickets to the strongest class . Then this ticket was transferred to the " Petrel ".
In 1964, the decision of Komcomsport of the Kazakh SSR Dynamo was replaced in the Burevestnik Championship . The team, led by E. F. Ayrih , quickly progressed and soon became one of the leaders of the Soviet Russian hockey . From 1966 to 1981, the team did not descend below fourth place. The leading Dynamo players in the summer period played field hockey in the same Dynamo .
After the departure of E. F. Iriha, the team somewhat lost ground. But she returned to the top lines of the tournament tables thanks to both the efforts of the players and the good coaching work of the student of E. F. Ayrikh - B. A. Chekhlystov .
In the 1993/1994 Russian Championship, the team spent only two games and withdrew from the competition for financial reasons. In 1995, the team was disbanded.
