Biography

Born October 26, 1960. He performed in weight categories up to and over 91 kg. Trainer - Honored Coach of the RSFSR, USSR Master of Sports Grigory Martirosovich Vartanov . Sebiev played for the Petrel and the Armed Forces ( Grozny ). He graduated from the oil field faculty of the Grozny Oil Institute . The first coach is Hussein Mudaev.

At the 1987 European Championships in Turin , he lost to Arnold Vanderlide in the final and won the silver medal. At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, in the 1/8 finals, he lost to boxer from Italy Luigi Gaudiano with a score of 3: 2.

In 1989, Sebiev and several other Soviet boxers ( Yuri Arbachakov , Alexander Miroshnichenko , Orzubek Nazarov , Vyacheslav Yakovlev , Vyacheslav Yanovsky ) were the first in the USSR to become professionals by signing contracts with the Japanese company Kyoei [2] . He spent four fights and won everything, two of them by knockout [3] .

He is currently president of the First Glove club.
