Dr. Steel (“Doctor Steel”, full name Doctor Phineas Waldolf Steel Eng. Doctor Phineas Waldolf Steel ) is an American musician and an Internet celebrity from the city of Los Angeles. He is known for his stage image of the “ mad scientist ” and the corresponding theme of the songs, as well as for steampunk- style, to the famous examples of which he is often referred to [1] [2] [3] [4] . Steele appeared on The Tonight Show [5] and gave numerous interviews [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] . In the story, his musicians are the robots he created, which at real concerts are "replaced" by a group of girls called "Army of Toy Soldiers".

Musical style

Steele's music is mixed, usually combining industrial sounds with folk, classical music or even jazz [14] . In addition, many of his albums are conceptual and have recitatives in songs, which makes it possible to relate his work to hip-hop opera, or as Rue Morgue Magazine journalist put it, “industrial hip-hop opera” [7] [12] [15] .
