Geography
The village is located 20 km from the Shebekino district center and 30 km from the Nezhegol railway station . Near the village flows the river Nezhegolek , a tributary of the Seversky Donets .
History
The village of Tseplyaevo was formed in the 16th century, herons were found on the lands of the village and the first name of the village was Tsaplyava , since 1654 the village began to be called Tseplyaevka . The first settlers were peasants from neighboring villages who lacked land.
The village of Tseplyaevka belonged to the Kursk province of the New Oskol district of the Trinity volost . In Tseplyaevka , mostly state serfs lived, who were sent here to protect the southern state border.
After 1917, the village became known as First Tseplyaevo.
