Club
Eden Ben Basat is a graduate of Maccabi Football Club (Haifa) . He played for the team in the Israeli Championship in 2004-2006, having played 21 matches during this time and scoring 3 goals in them. In the seasons 2004/05 and 2005/06 he became the champion of the country . In the 2006/07 season he was present in the team's application for participation in the UEFA Cup , but did not play a single match in the tournament [1] .
In 2007-2008, he played on loan at Maccabi from Herzliya and Haifa Hapoel . From 2008 to 2009 he defended the colors of the Hapoels from Kiryat Shmona and Tel Aviv . In the summer of 2009 he returned to Hapoel from Haifa .
For the first time since returning, he played for the team on September 12, 2009 in the Israeli Championship match against Maccabi Ahi . The forward entered the game in the starting lineup and was replaced in the second half by Galya Arel [2] . On November 7, 2009, Ben Basat scored the first goal of the season (from the penalty spot against the teammates from Acre [3] ). For “Hapoel” striker played until the summer of 2011 and scored 27 goals in 59 matches in the national championship.
In 2011, Eden Ben Basat joined the French Brest . He made his debut in the new club on August 5, 2011 in the match against Evian , replacing Jonathan Eite in the 75th minute [4] . On September 17, 2011, the striker scored his first goal in Ligue 1 (against Geoffrey Jourdren from Montpellier [5] . In total, Ben Basat played for Brest for a season and a half and scored 13 goals in 52 championship matches played (including 9 goals in 20 matches in the 2012/13 season .) In January 2013, the Israeli striker became a player in Toulouse .

Eden Ben Basat in 2003-2005 played for the youth teams of Israel at the age of 17, to 18, and to 19 years.
The forward was first called up to the country's first national team before the match against Azerbaijan , played on September 7, 2012 as part of the qualifying tournament for the 2014 World Cup . In that meeting, Ben Basat remained in reserve [6] . The striker made his debut for the national team in a match with Russia on September 11 of that year, replacing Itai Shekhter during the break [7] . In the next game for the national team, the striker scored a goal against the Luxembourg team with a transfer from Maor Melikson [8] .
