Cherry on a pomegranate tree ( Chinese ex. 石榴 树上 结 樱桃 ) is a Chinese movie of 2012, based on the 2004 novel of the same name by the famous writer Lee Era. The premiere of the film took place on June 20, 2012 in Moscow at the 34th international film festival . The debut film of theater director Chen Li.
