Biography

Prince Alexei Andreevich Golitsyn was the third son of the boyar and governor of Prince Andrei Andreevich Golitsyn (d. 1638 ) and Euphemia Yuryevna Pilyemova-Saburova (d. 1641 ). Brothers - Princes Vasily Golitsyn (d. 1652 ), Ivan Golitsyn (d. 1690 ) and Mikhail Golitsyn ( 1639/1640 - 1687 )

In 1651, Prince Alexei Andreevich Golitsyn was called the " neighbor " of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich . In 1652 it was mentioned in the rank of a cup-holder , then it was granted to the stewards . In 1658 he received the rank of boyar .

In 1665 - 1667, the boyar Prince Alexei Andreevich Golitsyn was in the Voivodship in Tobolsk . There are several " notes " of the governor himself, as well as " memoirs " for him from the Ambassadorial order or tales of servants.

In 1675 - 1676 years - the first governor in Kiev . His comrades (deputies) were the steward Prince Yakov Vasilievich Khilkov and the okolnichny Matvey Stepanovich Pushkin . Along with his appointment as governor in Kiev, he was awarded the honorary title of " Viceroy of Bulgaria " for conducting embassy affairs. In the fall of 1675, Pereyaslavl Colonel Voitsa Serbin sent a denunciation to Ivan Serko to the Kiev governor, Prince Alexei Andreyevich Golitsyn, in which he reported that the ataman went to P. In 1681 - 1683, the boyar, Prince Alexei Andreevich Golitsyn, was for the second time in the Voivodship in Tobolsk . On March 9, 1694, Prince Alexei Andreevich Golitsyn passed away.
