Crater Description
The nearest neighbors of the crater are the crater De Roi in the northwest; Arrhenius Crater in the north-northeast; Pilatra crater in the southeast and Chappi crater in the south-southeast [1] . Selenographic coordinates of the center of the crater , diameter 37.5 km [2] , depth 2.2 km [3] .
The crater has an elliptical shape oriented in the south-west - north-east direction. The crater shaft is substantially destroyed and smoothed, in places it has gaps. The height of the shaft above the surrounding area is 1030 m [3] , the volume of the crater is approximately 1200 km³ [3] . The bottom of the crater bowl is uneven, with no central peak.
Before receiving its own name in 1991, the crater was designated Arrhenius P (in the designation of the so-called satellite craters located in the vicinity of a crater with its own name).
