Biography
Born on June 10, 1960 in the city of Kiev. In 1965 he entered the music school in piano and since 1970 moved to the class of percussion instruments. In 1977, after graduating from high school, Alexander entered the Studio at the Theater. I. Frank and graduated in 1979 with a degree in music and drama theater.
From 1979 to 1982 he served and worked in the KVO Song and Dance Ensemble. From 1982 to 1986 he studied at the Kiev State Musical College. R. Glier on the class of percussion instruments. From 1982 to 1992, Alexander worked at the Kiev State Philharmonic in the ensembles “Native Chants” and “Rhapsody”. He took part in work with such performers as Yuri Gulyaev , Anatoly Solovyanenko , Yuri Bogatikov , Anatoly Kocherga , Nikolai Kondratyuk , Dmitry Gnatyuk , Evgenia Miroshnichenko , Maria Stefyuk and others.
In 1986, as part of the Quartet “Impressionist Jazz”, he became the winner of the first All-Ukrainian competition of jazz performers “Goloseevo-86”.
From 1991 to 2005 - musician, co-producer and manager of the Kiev group “Er. J. Orchestra. "
In 1996-1997 collaborated with the international festival "Dneprogastrol". He participated in the organization of the Ukrainian stand at the world music exhibition “Musicare” - April 1997. Paris, France.
In 1997 he was the organizer of the Ukrainian tour of the pianist Chris Jarrett (USA)
From 1997 to 1999, he worked in the Union of Composers of Ukraine as deputy director of the Simfokare audio publishing house.
From 1999 to 2003 he worked in the Radio Band Orchestra.
From 1999 to the present, she has been the accompanist of the percussion group of the National Folk Instruments Academic Orchestra of the National Radio Company of Ukraine.
In October – November 2005, he took part in the Ukrainian tour (31 cities) of Ocean Elsi in support of the album “GLORIA”
In November 2009, Alexander took part in the Ukrainian and Russian tour (21 cities) of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk in support of the Vnochi project.
In April-May 2010 he took part in the European tour European Jazz Orchestra.
He played with such musicians: Arkady Shilkloper, Ray Gaskins, Roy Ayers, Greg Maning, "Geraldo Lucio Quartet", Jonathan Butler, Teodora Enaci, Emy Dragoi, "Jazzex".
