Biography
Member of the USSR national team (1964-1969). He worked as a junior research fellow at VNIIFC and a trainer of the central sports club of the VDFSO Trade Union. He was the head coach of the sports training center of the national teams of Russia.
Among his pupils are the honored master of sports in athletics, the bronze medalist of the 2006 Indoor World Championships, the winner of the European All-Around Cup (2003, 2004, 2006), the Russian champion in 2006, Olga Levenkova [1] [2] .
For many years, Albert Mikhailovich was the chief judge for the photo finish at the largest athletics competitions held in Russia. In 2005, he was awarded the badge of honor “For Merits in the Development of the Olympic Movement in Russia” [3] .
He died on November 26, 2012 in Moscow. He was buried at the Golovinsky cemetery [4] .
