Biography
- In 1926 he graduated from the Higher Art and Technical Institute in Leningrad (formerly the Imperial Academy of Arts ).
- He taught at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I. E. Repin (IZHA). Professor. Deputy Director IHSA. In 1944-1947 - Rector of the Institute.
- He died in 1956. He was buried at Volkov's Cemetery "Literatorskie Mostki" .
