Silent Hill: Book of Memories received mixed reviews from critics due to the departure from the Silent Hill series gameplay canons. She received 61.49% on the Game Rankings [1] and 58/100 on Metacritic [2] . Hardcore Gamer gave the game 4 points out of 5, noting the depth of the game, the plot and a good indicator of replayability [3] , while GamesRadar sharply criticized the game, putting the game 2 stars out of 5, citing "repetitive" gameplay and weak RPG elements [4] . G4 gave Silent Hill: Book of Memories a rating of 3/5 [5] .
