Artakhan ( Artaan, Artagan, Ardahan, Ardagan ; arm. Արտահան ) - Gavar in the province of Gugark of Greater Armenia [1] [2] .
Culture
One of the leading cultural centers of Artakhan was the Vardzunyats Khach monastery complex.
Geography
In the west, Aratahan bordered on Khavar Khardzhk , in the north with the Kartvelian tribes, in the northeast with the Hawar Verin Javakhk , in the east with Ashotsk , in the southeast with Vanand , in the south with the Kog and Chakk gavars.
Within Gavar there is a city with the same name - Ardahan , as well as the city of Kadzhats (Ur).
