Goldseck debuted in the World Cup in 2004 , in December 2011, for the only time in his career, he was in the top ten at the World Cup stage in the team sprint. In addition to this, today he has in his account 10 hits in the top thirty at the stages of the World Cup, 7 in team races and 3 in personal ones. Goldseck's best achievement in the overall World Cup standings is 104th in the 2007/08 season.
At the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, he showed the following results: sprint - 31st place, 15 km with a classic style - 53rd place, skiathlon 15 + 15 km - 56th place.
At the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, he took 40th place in the sprint.
