History
The football team was founded in 1985, under the name "Sula", on the basis of the team of the military unit "Star" (Lubny).
Names:
- 1985—2001, 2009 (from June to November) - “Sula”
- 2003-2009 (to June) and from 2010 - FC Lubny
FC Lubny is the owner of the Poltava Region Cup 2005/06, 2006/07. FC “Sula” (Lubny) had won the cup 5 more times before: 1987, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1998. Finalist of the 2004/05 Regional Cup. Silver medalist of the regional championship 2005/06 and 2011, bronze medalist - 2006/07, 2007 (autumn).
