Furies ( lat. Furii ) - an ancient Roman patrician clan branching on the names of Filov , Medullin ( lat. Medullini ), Camillov , Patsilov ( lat. Pacili ), Akuleonov, Bibakulov ( lat. Bibaculi ), Crassipedov and others [1] and gave the following: more or less prominent representatives:
- Sextus Fury Medullin Foose - Consul of the Roman Republic in 488 BC e .;
- Agrippa Fury Medullin - Consul 446 BC e., successfully fought with the Volsk [1] ;
- Lucius Furius Medullinus ( Lucius Furius Medullinus ) - was seven times a military tribune with consular power and twice consul. He conquered the city of Volsk Ferentin [1] ;
- Lucius Fury Purpurion - military stands at Marcellus (210 BC), praetor 200 BC e. Being a praetor, he ousted the Gauls from Cremona and defeated their army, and the Carthaginian commander Hamilcar , who was in the city, also died. In 196 BC e., as a consul, he defeated together with a colleague, Mark Claudius Marcellus, fighting , and in 190 BC. e., after defeating Antiochus , participated in the deputation of 10 ambassadors who were entrusted with resolving the situation of the newly conquered province [1] ;
- Publius Furius Phylus - Praetor 174 BC e., who ruled Middle Spain . Accused by the Spaniards of extortion and cruelty, he was convicted and retired into exile in Prenest (now Palestrina ) [1] ;
- Guy Fury Akuleon - a relative and friend of Cicero , married to his aunt - Tullia [1] ;
- Mark Fury Phil is a member of the College of Coin Triumviras around 119 BC. e .;
- Publius Fury Crassiped - being a kurul edil about 84 BC. e., in charge of coinage. Father of the second husband of Tullia Tsitseronis ;
- Lucius Fury Brock - the monetary of the Republic about 63 BC. e .;
- Fury Crassiped - married at the death of Pison to the daughter of Cicero, Tullia [1] . Quaestor in Bithynia in 51 BC e. at the governor of the province of Publia Celia
- Fury Leptin is a senator who occupied the pre-trial in the 1st floor. I century BC e [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] .
