Tryphan, Calina

Calina Trifan (b. April 30, 1953 , p. Slobozia Mare , Vulcanesti district) is a Moldavian poetess.

The poetess and essayist Calina Trifan was born on April 30, 1953 in the family of Vasile and Ekaterina Trifan. After graduating from high school in the village of Slobozia Mare, she continued her studies at the Faculty of Library Science and Bibliography of Chisinau State University (1972-1976). She worked as the chief librarian of the KSU Science Library (1976-1988), then as a bibliographer at the Translation College of the Union of Writers of Moldova , editor of the newspaper "Glasul naţiunii" (1990-1991). Since 1991 - Scientific Secretary at the National Center for Literary Studies and Museography. M. Kogelnichanu (Museum of Romanian Literature). She made her debut in poetry in a local newspaper in 1971; the first book publication - in the collective collection "Dintre sute de catarge" ("From hundreds of masts", 1984). Also publishes literary reviews and essays . Her poems are included in the poetic anthologies of Moldova, Romania , Italy , etc. Calina Trifan is a member of the Union of Writers of Moldova and the Union of Writers of Romania.
