Biography
After graduating from high school, he worked at a garment factory in Chaldovar. In 1972 he went to work at the Kyyal Folk Art Crafts Association, where he took up the position of an incrustator. To get a vocational education, he entered the Krasnoselsk College of Metal Processing in the Kostroma Region, which he graduated in 1977. Remained to work in the village of Krasnoye-on-Volga at the Krasnoselsky jewelry factory.
He performed many works in collaboration with his wife - Lyubov Zhemchugova .
He continued his creative work in Kyrgyzstan, where he earned authority as a representative of contemporary art [1] .
In 1980 he joined the Union of Artists of the USSR. He participated in national and international exhibitions.
Zhemchugov’s works are kept in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts and in private collections.
