.50 GI - pistol unitary cartridge of central ignition , developed by Alex Zimmermann and Vic Tibbets, founders of Guncrafter Industries , and manufactured by the same company since 2004. It has a cylindrical sleeve with a reduced edge .

Features and Applications
.50 GI ammunition can be used with .45 ACP pistols after replacing the barrel, bolt and magazine. Currently, this ammunition is not widely used due to the limited range of weapons for this cartridge.
