Content
Story
More and more mysterious disappearances of aircraft occur. From time to time, reports of UFOs reach the US government, which, however, are not taken seriously. Soon the whole world is shocked by the appearance of a monstrous bird from another parallel dimension . A monster “the size of a ship” attacks New York , all the army’s power cannot stop it. Only after using the deadly isotope does the bird die. At the end of the film, a giant claw of a bird descending under water is shown.

Facts
- The bird’s head is not visible on the movie poster.
- The name of the bird La Carcagne is borrowed from Franco-Canadian folklore, however there it was called a witch with a wolf head and bat wings. Like the Banshee , it is a symbol of death.
