Story
Four teenagers (Itino, Nita, Ryota and the thief Yoshimura) go on a hijacked yacht to the sea, looking for the missing fisherman (brother of one of the teenagers) friends. They are overtaken by a hurricane , the company falls on an abandoned island occupied by the terrorists of the Red Bamboo organization, and a terrible sea monster lives on the coast - the giant Ebira shrimp . To escape the threat, wanderers meet a native girl and find the sleeping Godzilla in a cave. They learn that the terrorists are forcing the natives from the island of Infanta to squeeze fruit juice, which scares off a giant shrimp.
Friends manage to wake up Godzilla and he begins to destroy the island. After a short fight with a giant condor (which corresponds in size to a sparrow - in comparison with a man), the monster goes to sea, where the battle with Ebira takes place. Soon, Mothra joins the battle, as a result Godzilla tears apart Ebiru, a bomb activated by terrorists on the island explodes, erasing the island from the face of the Earth. The main characters are saved by Mothra, and Godzilla floats away in an unknown direction.

Creation History
Initially, the main monster of the film was to become King Kong , but the film company Toho eventually replaced him with Godzilla - more famous for those times kinomonstra . But the Kong suit was already made, so in 1967 it was used in the movie " King Kong Escape ." Nevertheless, the plot as a whole has not changed, therefore Godzilla behaves here unusually and is a positive character.
Since 1991, the film has been known worldwide as “Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster”. In 2005, Sony released the film on DVD.
Ocean battle scenes were filmed in a special water-filled pool .
The film’s slogan is “There is one lobster that you wouldn’t want to order.”
