Geography
Located on the right bank of the Tongihoyerk River , southeast of the regional center of Galanzhozh .
The nearest ruins of the former villages: in the north-west - the former auls of Baukhoy , Senakha , Yurdykhoy , and the Elparo farm , in the northeast - the former auls of Chukhshlana and Alekale , in the southeast - the former auls of Amkaloy , Bechig and Tsatsakha , in the south-west the former villages of Pegei and Pezh Baskhoy [1] .
History
Aul Tongahoy was liquidated in 1944 during the period of the expulsion of Chechens. After the rehabilitation that took place in 1956 , the Chechen population was forbidden to settle in the area [2] .
