Club career

Quiroga is a graduate of the Newell's Old Boys football academy. He made his debut in the main team in 1997. A year later, he signed a contract with the Portuguese Sporting . In the new team, Facundo spent 6 seasons with a break for a one-year rental in the Italian Napoli . In the 1999/2000 season, Quiroga played an important role in the Lions winning the championship. In Portugal, he played with another Newells Old Boys player, Aldo Ducher .
