Lutacy ( lat. Lutatii ) - the ancient Roman plebeian clan [1] . Famous representatives:
- Gaius Lutatius Catulus
- Quintus Lutatius Catulus (Quintus Lutatius Catulus, 150-87 years BC)
- His son Quintus Lutacius Catul Capitoline (123-61 years BC) - a graceful speaker and educated man, was consul in 78 BC. e., when Sulla died, and held the side of the optimists . In 70 BC e. participated as a judge in the process of Verres . His political career was not particularly successful: his rivals Pompey and Caesar always defeated him or left him behind [1] .
