Krushkol, Julia Semenovna

She graduated from high school in Gudauta , where her family moved a few years after her birth. She graduated from the Kuban Pedagogical Institute .

Since 1938, she taught at the History Department of the Moscow Regional Pedagogical Institute. N.K. Krupskaya , where she taught courses in ancient history and archeology.

In the 1950-1970s. repeatedly participated in archaeological expeditions in the USSR. The author of numerous works on the history of the ancient world, numismatics, anthropology.

In 1972, N. S. Krushkol's nephew, Mikhail Voslensky (the son of her sister Vera), while on a business trip to the Federal Republic of Germany, refused to return to the USSR. This created difficulties for her publications and teaching. In 1977, when she died, the historical press of the USSR did not notice this; only in the next 1978, at the end of the article, after her authorship, was a short message posted about the death of the author.
