Career

In 1972 he became the champion of the National University Sports Association . At the 1972 Olympics, he participated in two competitions at once. In the Greco-Roman wrestling won the Czech Peter Kment and lost to Wilfried Dietrich . In freestyle wrestling competitions he took the 3rd place, losing to the Soviet wrestler Alexander Medved . In 1974 he made his debut in professional competitions. In 1977, due to health problems, he left the sport. Two years later, he died of a heart attack.
