Biography
Originally from the serfs of the Simbirsk province. Born in 1783 , but it is not established where. He studied at the Moscow school of the Italian Claude and in the house of Professor D. Levitsky at the Academy of Fine Arts.
In 1806 he received a place at Kazan University . Kryukov was defined “for teaching students to draw and paint with dry water and oil paints from originals from life and in miniature”.
