Hirkan ( azerb. Hirkan ) is an urban-type settlement in the Lenkoran region of Azerbaijan . The village is located 12 km from the Lankaran railway station (on the Salyany - Astara line ).

Status of an urban-type settlement since 1964. Until the 1990s, it was called Aurora .
According to TSB, a tea farm and a winery were located in Aurora. There was a branch of the Lankaran Research Institute of Horticulture, Viticulture and Subtropical Crops [1] .
