The mosque in the settlement of Ashagi Nyuvedi was built at the end of the 19th century, located in the ancient cemetery. The mosque is under state protection and is an architectural and historical monument. The building is a typical religious building of its time. According to the planning structure, it is an elongated rectangle with dimensions of 18.8 × 7.4 and a height of 4 meters. The hall has three entrances - two on the main and one on the side facade. On the main facade, doors and windows are located symmetrically relative to the mihrab (mehrab is a niche in the mosque facing Mecca). A small tetrahedral gumbaz (a dome built of bricks) stands in the center of the roof. The main material used in the construction is red burnt brick. Doors, windows, roof supporting structures, ceilings, four columns (30 × 30 cm) are made of wood; the roof is tiled. The masonry itself, the diamond-shaped shebeke on the windows, serve as decoration of the exterior. On each of the side facades there are two windows that differ from each other. The width of the arched windows located on the right side facade is 2.20 m. The windows on the left side facade are rectangular, each 1 m wide, they are located above the door at a height of approximately 2.30 m. [1]

The mosque has one prayer hall, the length and width of which are 14.4 and 6.2 meters, respectively, its height is 4.20 m. There are two entrances, symmetrical about the transverse axis and located on the main facade. There are also two arched windows with a width of 2.6 m on the main facade. The same window is on one of the side facades. The windows are decorated with large diamond-shaped and square shebeke and provide natural lighting of the room. The Kyuvenil Mosque is built of red burnt bricks; the supporting structures of the roof, windows, and doors are made of wood. In the middle of the roof stands a two-sided gumbaz with a height of 2 m with a base of 1.1 m. The walls, compared to other similar structures, are not wide and are 60 cm. [2]
