Sataplia reserve is a reserve in the Tskhaltubo municipality of Georgia . Located on the mountain Satapli in the southwestern part of the Main Caucasus Range .

The reserve was founded in 1935, in modern borders - 1957. The reserve was created to protect the deciduous-evergreen forests of the Kolkhida type, monuments of geology and archeology. The area of the reserve is 354 hectares, of which 348 hectares are forests.
The relief of the reserve is mountainous, the climate is close to subtropical. In the Colchisian forests of the reserve grow yew , Colchis boxwood , Colchis holly , laurel cherry , Colchis klekachka , beech , etc. 20 plant species are endemic. Jackal , badger , fox and hare live here.
On the territory of the reserve there is a crater of an extinct volcano , a stone age man’s camp, and petrified dinosaur footprints . There are several karst caves in the reserve. The largest cave, Sataplia, was discovered in 1925 and has a length of about 900 m.
