Biography

Born in the city of Vologda .

After graduating from the Vologda real school in 1914 he was mobilized into the army. Member of the First World War , Lieutenant Grokhovsky 182nd Infantry Regiment . He was awarded the Order of St. George 4th degree [1] . In 1917 he completed accelerated courses of the first stage at the Academy of the General Staff [2] . At the end of 1917, he was a senior adjutant to the headquarters of the 32nd Infantry Division, captain of staff . The Division Committee was selected as the chief of staff of the division.

In the Red Army

After enrolling in the Red Army, he held the position of first assistant and then chief of the operational department of the Northern Front of the RSFSR. From April to September 1918 he continued his studies at the senior course of the Military Academy. Member of the battles with the Czechoslovak corps in the region of Chelyabinsk . Included in the lists of the General Staff (1920). During the Soviet-Polish war, he held the post of head of the 18th Infantry Division . According to the results of the July offensive, he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner [3] . After the Warsaw battle, he was interned in East Prussia together with the division. At first he was in the Aris camp [4] , then he was transferred to the Salzwedel camp. After returning from Germany to Russia, he worked in the Field Headquarters of the RVSR. In 1924 he was demobilized, later worked in the system of the People’s Commissariat of Agriculture .

He died in Moscow in 1937, was buried in the Novodevichy cemetery .
