Biography
In 1676 - 1678 , 1682 - 1688, Mikhail Petrovich Golovin led the Zemsky order . In 1677 he was granted a prisoner , and in 1678 he was in the voivodship in Yaroslavl . In 1682, Mikhail Petrovich Golovin was the main organizer of the wedding of the brothers Ivan and Peter Alekseevich.
M.P. Golovin is known in the late 70s and early 80s. XVII century the fact that he headed the Moscow administration and is mentioned by sources primarily in connection with the uprising of archers in 1682 .
After the execution of the head of the Streletsky order of the boyar, Prince Ivan Andreevich Khovansky ( September 17 ), the government of Tsarevna Sofia Alekseevna began to dictate her will to the archers without fear: “ If earlier it retreated and yielded to the wishes of the archers; now it spoke to them in the language of ultimatums. Earlier, archers in almost every new petition sought privileges and privileges, sought recognition of their special merits in the May events, as a result of which Sofya Alekseyevna became ruler of the infant brothers Tsars Ivan and Peter; now they swore allegiance to the government, in the absence of their intentions to participate in the riot. Moreover, they expressed a desire to abandon previously received benefits . ” So, on September 27, Princess Sophia ordered Mikhail Golovin to demand the issuance of electors from the archers, “who returned from the road to the monastery [Trinity-Sergiev] to Moscow, whose fault was that, having returned to the capital, they caused indignation and upheaval in all regiments, having started a thievery, which has never happened . ” On the same day, two decrees of Sofya Alekseevna Mikhail Golovin followed, in which he was ordered to obtain: 1) from each regiment of the outfit infantry submission of lists of those " from whom the current turmoil had been incurred from them in the regiments "; 2) the return to the arsenals of weapons, artillery, gunpowder and lead seized by them on September 18-19 . Life in the Streltsy regiments returned to normal.
In 1689, the boyar Mikhail Petrovich Golovin died, leaving behind his three sons: Autonomus , Ivan and Mikhail.
