"Little Prince" - magnetic album of the Soviet rock band " DK ", released in 1984 . Recorded in the dance hall of the dormitory of the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys in 1983-1984. on the tape "Rostov". The recording used authentic Soviet technology, authentic Soviet musical instruments and authentic magnetic media "Svema" and "Slavich." Design artist Yuri Nepaharev.
This album, just like the previous one , is stylized as post-punk in the eclectic aesthetics of The Clash . According to the authors, it is a “conceptual reflection on the patriotic theme, passed through the crooked optics of the sickeningly sentimental Baroque Exupery and his lawyers from Time Machine” [1] , which differs from the later magnetoalbums of the group.
The reprinted version (2001, CD) consisted of the compositions of two magnetoalbums - Kisilev (1983) and The Little Prince. The mastering was performed by O.Nikankin based on the lo-fi thrash sound ideology. The disc was designed by a well-known Moscow designer and one of the publishers of the KontKultUra magazine A. Volkov in the style of sov-art-horror.
