Content
Story
The action begins with a solemn ceremony of the marriage of Papi and Chloe. After a while, a happy couple has children - five funny puppies: four daughters (Alli, Pep, Lala and Rosa) and one son, Papa Jr. A nimble company rushes around the house during the day, and at night listens to Daddy's tales about the great heroes of the glorious Chihuahua tribe.
Aunt Viv (owner of Chloe) is in the rainforests for the next 6 months with her niece Rachel in search of plants for medical research. During this time, Sam (owner of Papi) takes care of the whole Chihuahua family. Sam takes Chloe, Papi, and the puppies home to meet his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cortes in Los Angeles .
Sam finds out that his family is struggling to pay a home mortgage, and the bank plans to take their home and sell it. Chloe and the rest of the dogs decided to compete in the show to win a big cash prize. Delgado, an old friend, also comes to the house and tells Chloe that he needs her help with a secret mission. Delgado is trying to tell his two sons the truth about why he left them, but he cannot force himself to do this. Later, although Papi initially won, but due to a lack of breed, he is disqualified and wins an arrogant French poodle named Apolilus. Upon learning that Delgado has sons in Los Angeles , the puppies went in search of them. In an attempt to help, the puppies get bogged down in a bank robbery.
Meanwhile, Chloe, Papi, Pedro (Papi's brother) and Delgado are trying to find puppies when they appear on television at the bank robbery site. They all went to the bank to start looking for puppies. Puppies climbed into the bags of crooks and ended up at the Hoffman bakery. Pedro finds a mask with the scent of bread, which leads them to the factory. They thwarted the robbery, then, returning home, they learned that they had been awarded more than enough money to save their home, and that Rachel and Aunt Viv had returned. Delgado also returns to the police with his two sons, who have now learned the truth about why Delgado left them. Sam makes an offer to Rachel, and she agrees.
