Lozhchenko, Nikolai Rodionovich

Nikolai Rodionovich Lozhchenko (1930–2015) - Soviet and Russian organizer of industrial production. Member of the Council of the Union of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 11th convocation (1984-1989) from the Chelyabinsk region .

Biography

Born on April 24, 1930 in the village of Vasilevka (now Onufrievsky district of the Kirovograd region ).

After graduating from the Kremenchug Engineering College (1951), he arrived at ChTZ, worked as a technologist, senior technologist, process engineer, and shop manager. Without interruption from production, he graduated from the Chelyabinsk Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture with a degree in mechanical engineering (1958).

In 1965, he headed the tractor building, became the deputy general director of PO ChTZ im. V.I. Lenin, ”then chief engineer and 1st deputy general director. From April 1979 to October 1992 he was the general director of the association. During this period, under the conditions of existing production, a radical reconstruction of the enterprise was carried out, which made it possible to switch to the production of T-130 family tractors with the D-160 engine and bring their production to 38.5 thousand (1988) per year. The production of high power engines and special equipment was mastered, the DET-250 tractor was modernized. Domestic premises were built in many units, housing construction was intensively carried out.

From October 1992 to November 1995, he worked as the General Director of Uraltrac JSC. He introduced into production 47 rationalization proposals with an economic effect of over 445 thousand rubles. (in 1970 prices).

After retirement he worked as an adviser to the general director of ChTZ OJSC.

Personal life

Married, has two sons. Hobbies - hunting, picking mushrooms, reading books.
