Geographical position
Located in the south-eastern part of the country, at an altitude of 1141 m above sea level. 3 dry rivers flow through the city: Mosope, Monnaamme and Kolwan.

Economics and Infrastructure
The basis of the economy is agriculture, the most developed poultry breeding. Vegetables are also growing, but only to provide for the local population, since the climate of the area where the village is located is too arid to maintain productive agriculture. The area near Moshupa suffers from overgrazing and deforestation .
Moshup has 6 elementary schools, 3 secondary schools and 1 high school. The healthcare system is represented by three clinics. There are plans to build a hospital.
