Biography
In 1568, Prince Mikhail Fedorovich Gvozdev-Rostovsky was the voivode of a large regiment in Kaluga . In 1573, “ according to the Crimean news ”, the Tsar received an order to come out of Orel with a guard regiment and be in the shelves without seats, and after returning from a campaign to be in Orel again. In 1576, under the imperial decree, Prince M. F. Gvozdev-Rostovsky, at the head of the guard regiment, was to march from Ryazan . In 1588 and 1598 - the governor of the guard regiment in Kolomna .
In 1597, Prince Mikhail Fyodorovich Gvozdev-Rostovsky was among the nobility who participated in the reception of Tsar Fedor Ivanovich by the envoy of the German emperor - burgrave Abraham Donavsky.
