Biography
Kinzikeev Akhtyam Rakhmatullovich [1] was born on January 1, 1922 in the village of Buzdyak, Belebeevsky district of the Ufa province (Buzdyaksky district of the Republic of Belarus).
In 1951 he graduated from the Moscow Oil Institute named after I.M. Gubkin.
Place of employment: Senior Lecturer, Ufa Petroleum Institute (1951-1956); Head of Laboratories of the Tatar Petroleum Research Institute ( Bugulma , 1956-1967); Deputy Dean, Dean of the Tatar Evening Faculty of the Ministry of Economics and Public Relations (Almetyevsk, 1967-1969); Dean, Head of the Department of Gomel State University (1969-1973); Head of the Department (1973-1989), Professor (since 1989), Bashkir State University.
Kinzikeev's research areas: geology, geophysics. He developed research methods for oil and gas, carbonate deposits of the Ural-Volga region. This made it possible to clarify the Paleozoic stratigraphy; in the carbonate deposits of this territory, new oil-bearing strata were discovered.
