Geography
The village is located next to the ECAD north of Yekaterinburg . The distance to the former center of the village council of Sadovy is 3 km, to the nearest railway station Berezit - 7 km. The nearest settlements are Sadovy , Berezit , Zelyony Bor and the city of Yekaterinburg .

History
The village clinic was renamed the village of Yagodny November 22, 1966 by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR [3] [4] .
The village was part of the Garden Village Council until the 2000s .
April 29, 1999 the streets of Lugovaya, First and Second were renamed to Polynnaya, Fruit and Strawberry, respectively [5] .
On December 9, 2014, a survey of residents was scheduled on the issue of the village joining the city of Yekaterinburg [6] . The protocol of the survey was approved on March 10, 2015 [7] .
On February 11, 2016, the settlement was abolished and included in the city line of Yekaterinburg. [eight]

According to the 2002 census, the national composition is as follows: Russians - 72% [11] . According to the 2010 census , there were 50 men and 38 women in the village [12] .
