The coat of arms was approved by the decision of the Muchkap district council of people's deputies of August 5, 2010 No. 8. [1]
The coat of arms is entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation under registration number 6365. [2]

Emblem Description
"In the scarlet field - standing on the turned on azure extremity, encumbered by nine (5 and 4) silver eight-ray stars, a silver log windmill."
The coat of arms of the Muchkap district, in accordance with the Methodological Recommendations for the development and use of official symbols of municipalities (Section 2, Chapter VIII, paragraphs 45-46), approved by the Heraldic Council under the President of the Russian Federation on June 28, 2006 can be reproduced with a status crown of a standard form .
Justification of Symbols
The figures of the coat of arms and its colors symbolize the natural and economic features of the Muchkap district.
Muchkap district is located in the southeastern part of the Tambov region. The main direction of the district is agriculture and processing industry.
The mill is a symbol of the processing industry of developed agriculture in the region, which includes 5 workshops for processing grain into flour, as well as large agricultural enterprises PO Muchkapkhleb and OAO Muchkapkhlebokombinat, taxes from which are the main part of revenues to the district treasury.
The district has 1 urban and 8 rural settlements. 9 stars - a symbol of the settlements that make up a single area. The symbolism of the star is ambiguous:
- - a symbol of guidance, insight, faith;
- - a symbol of infinity, eternal happiness, success;
- - The eight-pointed star is a symbol of law and law.

Red (red) - a symbol of labor, courage, life-affirming strength, beauty and celebration.
A large Vorona river flows through the territory of the district and two smaller ones - the Big Alabushka and the Wet Karay . Along the river Crows stretch forests of the state fund. In addition to rivers, there are 43 ponds in the district.
Azure (blue color) symbolizes the Vorona River and other water bodies located in the district. Azure is also a symbol of exalted aspirations, sincerity, devotion, rebirth.
Silver is a symbol of purity, openness, divine wisdom, reconciliation.

In 2005, a souvenir badge was issued with the emblem of the Muchkap district: “In the azure field there is a silver spike in a silver gear. There is a golden hive in the azure free part of the shield, above which are three golden bees in a semicircle ”(the emblem was not officially approved). [3]
Later, the Tambov company "Archimedes" developed two more designs of the coat of arms of the Muchkap district, which depicted in different versions - the coats of arms of the Tambov, Voronezh and Saratov regions. These draft emblems were not officially approved. [four]
The current emblem of the region was developed with the assistance of the Union of Heraldists of Russia .
