Cyril is a hurricane that took place January 17-19, 2007 over most of Europe. It caused a minimum of 34 [2] human casualties, caused great material damage, caused malfunctions in the operation of air and railway transport, temporary blocking of highways and bridges .

Title

Cyril owes his name to the Berlin family, who wanted to give his father ( Bulgarian Cyril Genov) an anticyclone . However, in odd years, only female names receive anticyclones, so Cyril was called the cyclone .

Movement

A hurricane swept almost the entire country. The hurricane in the Cologne-Dusseldof area was especially strong. A severe hurricane was in Hamburg. A palpable hurricane struck in Berlin. By evening, he moved south of the country and crept to the Czech border and Bavaria.
