Dendroplex (lat.) - genus of birds of the family Datolazovy . For a long time, he was a member of the Mechaquil genus, but its originality was recently confirmed ^[1] ^[2] .

Scale-breasted Melebee Drevolaz ( Dendroplex picus ), previously Xiphorhynchus picus (Gmelin, 1788) ;
Brazilian Melebees ( Dendroplex kienerii ), formerly Xiphorhynchus necopinus (Zimmer, 1934) .
