Content
Biography
In 1963 she moved to Armavir . In the sports school she was engaged in swimming, since 1970 athletics all-around.
At the Moscow Games, Lyudmila took part in the 400 meter race and in the 4x400 relay relay race. At the 400-meter distance, she could not reach the final, and in the relay race Chernova, like Olga Mineeva , participated in the preliminary race, but missed the final. She was replaced by Nina Zyukova . The USSR team won gold medals [3] .
She graduated from the Krasnodar Pedagogical Institute . After completing her career, she worked as a trainer and head of the regional Youth Sports School “Youth of Russia”.
Arrest
Arrested on April 28, 2018. A criminal case has been instituted against her under part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal Code (abuse of authority) due to payments to the Kuban football club from the budget in the amount of 886 million rubles. This was "RG" a source in law enforcement agencies of the region. The minister herself is now in a pre-trial detention center, and a search was carried out at her house the day before. Personal life
Lyudmila’s husband Sergey is a famous Soviet decathlete , daughter Tatyana is a world champion and two-time bronze medalist of the Heptathlon . Son Eugene also plays sports.
