Formation
The 16th Guards Mechanized Brigade was formed in 1932 as the 244th territorial rifle regiment of the 82nd territorial rifle division in the Perm region , on the basis of personnel of the 169th rifle regiment of the 57th Ural rifle division .

Khalkhin Gol Fights
From May 30 to June 16, 1939, the 82nd Infantry Division (military unit 5278) was formed in the city of Perm and the camp of Bershet, Perm region. In World War II
601th Motorized Rifle Regiment
