Content

Career

Ryan's first international competition was the World Junior Championships in 2005 . There he won a silver medal. In 2007, Brathwaite became 4th at the Pan American Games , and at the World Championships in the semi-finals he took last, 24th place.

At the Beijing Olympics, Ryan did not go further than the semi-finals. At the next world championship, he won, setting a national record, and in 2011 failed to reach the semifinals. At the Olympics in London, Brathwaite in the finals took 5th place [1] .

Personal life

His younger brother Shane is also an athlete, he also participated in the Olympic Games in 2012 [2] .
