FocusWriter is a free word processor with a minimalistic user interface that allows you to fully focus on work. Written by programmer Graeme Gott using Qt . It enjoys well-deserved popularity among users. Available for many platforms including: Windows , Linux , Mac OS . Translated into many languages, including Russian.
Key Features
- Small size and portable mode. It can be downloaded to a USB flash drive and used anytime, anywhere for writing and editing texts.
- Localization. It has built-in Russian and more than 20 languages.
- Spell check. Able to check Russian and many other languages.
- Plan. You can set in the settings how much text you need to write per day. The program will display the percentage of completion.
- Editing scenes. Function for navigating between pieces of text.
- Focus function. The editor allows you to highlight a piece of text that is being worked on. You can highlight the current line or an entire paragraph.
- User friendly interface. All controls appear as needed. This does not strain your eyes and allows you to better concentrate on creativity.
- Customize themes. You can pick up any visual theme to your taste by editing colors, fonts, frame size and even background image.
