Geography
It is located on the right bank of the Geshihi river, to the south-east of the regional center of Galanzhozh .
The nearest ruins of the former auls: in the east are the villages of Bushni and Otta , in the north-west are the villages of Kurahi , Uzny and Lower Kiy , in the south-east are the villages of Motskara and Oshni , in the south-west are the villages of Gimroy and Meshtera [1] .
History
The village of Burta was liquidated in 1944 during the period of the expulsion of Chechens. After the rehabilitation that took place in 1956 , the Chechen population was forbidden to settle in the area [2] .
